Cans
Re-appropriated cans offer a strong and durable casing for housing electronics. I have used these cans as a means to house simple synthesizers and amplifiers similar to the modular synthesis of the 60s and 70s. Each instrument has its own speaker and includes a ¼” input/output jack for interconnect-ability allowing users to create and manipulate sounds in varying ways.
The canned circuits include:
• Basic amplifier
• Distortion module
• Delay/Echo module
• Reverb module
• Metronome
• Light sensitive synthesizer (similar to a theremin)
• Recording module which samples up to 60 seconds of audio
• Extension speaker
• 555 sequencer
